Integrating Natural Medicine into your Life!

Our understanding of health is ever-evolving.  As well, the availability of medical information and differing opinions can be overwhelming.  At this time, we need doctors that are educated, innovative and willing to take the time to effectively address patient needs.  Western medicine provides life-saving treatments and medications, but are there viable alternatives, especially in regards to prevention of disease, treatment of symptoms and ideally, optimization of health.  The answer is a resounding YES!  Of course, we are not in any way discouraging medications, surgeries and other medical procedures.  What we do encourage is the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, balanced diet, natural therapies and the development of a relationship and collaboration with health care practitioners that put your well-being at the forefront of care.

The best news is that you do not need to pick one over the other.  Why not have the best of both worlds?  Use medication where necessary, but adopt practices that possibly prevent the need for medication.  Our medical doctors prescribe medication, thankfully, but rarely are they in a position to prescribe a healthy diet, supplements, physical treatments or other natural therapies.  Is it a question of validity?  Do natural therapies even work or are they as effective?  I think by now the majority of people recognize their efficacy and common-sense dictates that having a healthy diet equates to prevention of disease; as an unhealthy diet equates with the onset of disease.  If your muscles ache, is a massage a better option than pain medication?  If you have an injury, do physiotherapy and acupuncture not offer relief?

At Tri-Health Wellness Centre you are getting a team of practitioners ready to manage your unique concerns in precisely the manner and order that you require. Our team approach to integrated natural medicine ensures that you are not spending needlessly and your health benefits are being utilized effectively.  Our team of doctors and therapists are constantly communicating regarding your progress and won’t hesitate to refer you to the appropriate practitioner.  When it comes to your health, trust those who love what they do.  Your health is the fruit of their efforts.
