Golden Flower Chinese Herbs Tang Kuei & Peony Formula (Dang Gui Shao Yao San) is a classical Traditional Chinese Medicine formula, first recorded in the Jin Gui Yao Lue (c. 220 CE). In TCM it is traditionally used to build and nourish blood, smooth liver qi, strengthen spleen qi and resolve dampness, and is commonly used to support menstrual and women’s health.

Ingredients (percent of formula)

• Bai Shao – Chinese white peony root (Paeoniae radix alba) 25.0%
• Fu Ling – Poria 16.6%
• Bai Zhu – White atractylodes rhizome (Atractylodis macrocephalae) 16.6%
• Ze Xie – Asian water plantain rhizome (Alismatis rhizoma) 16.6%
• Dang Gui – Tang kuei / dong quai root (Angelicae sinensis radix) 12.6%
• Chuan Xiong – Ligusticum rhizome (Chuanxiong rhizoma) 12.6%

Recommended dose

Standard dosage per the manufacturer is 2 tablets, 3 times daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
